Week 2
We are a lot of teachers, the learning community is working very well. I am learning a lot from my colleagues, thank you all.  This week I have discovered more web search engines,  I think it is very useful to be able to find information taking different sources. It's good to know there are "other lives" out there. I am so used to having google as the homepage of my browser, that I often forget there are more options. I'll bear it in mind from now on. I've started reflecting about my classes and my students and their needs. We started the week writing a behavioral objective, it made me think about how vague I sometimes can be when I set a goal. "Food for thought"

This is getting better. Don't miss next week's post!

  1. Hi Bogona,

I agree with you when you see Google is a type of default search engine for many people. This session did allow us to see beyond that. The ABCD objective, was, as you say, something to think about when teaching.

    Waiting for your next post.

  2. Hi Begona,

It is great to have to know so many people from around the world and learning from each other - that is so true. I also like the way we learn and implement, and I already start thinking about how I can use such an interaction with my students ). I also have Google as my home page and learning about other search engines was really good and useful. I would agree with Nahla that ABCD objective makes you think why you are asking your students to do this or that exercise in the classroom.

Wishing you a nice start if the week!

  3. Hello Begona,

Great comments for our second week, I totally agree when you say that sometimes we forget that there other (for not saying thousands) options instead of only google. Marina mentions something really nice " the way we learn and implement, and I already start thinking about how I can use such an interaction with my students", that's so true that I am looking forward to come back from my winter vacation and start making some changes. Finally, the ABCD made me think that my classroom objectives shouldn't be about finishing a book, instead should be about exclusively my students' needs
